Because the land we save today shapes the world we leave behind.
WHAT WE PROTECT
We protect land in Sussex and Warren Counties, where forests, wetlands, and ridgelines support rare plants, diverse wildlife, and incredible biodiversity. This region sits at a critical pinch point in the Appalachian Mountains—part of a migration path species will rely on as they move north in response to climate change. These lands aren’t just wild—they’re vital. Learn More →
HOW WE PROTECT IT
Through partnerships with landowners and conservation allies, we permanently preserve land—forever. Ridge and Valley Conservancy currently stewards over 2,600 acres, including nature preserves with public trails. Our work is powered by local volunteers, donors, and people who care about leaving a legacy of protected land for the future. Find Out How →
