Guided Mindfulness Nature Walk
(A non-social experience in nature)
April 11, 11AM-12:15PM at Limestone Ridge Preserve
Suitable for adults and children, 10 and older, 1 hr. 15 min.
Come join Kripalu certified Mindfulness Outdoor Leader Beth Haessig as she takes us on an inner journey, outside in nature, at the Limestone Ridge Preserve on April 11. Beth guides participants toward deep grounded contact and listening in nature, as we perceive sounds, rocks, flowing rivers, and other life forms while walking slowly. Touch and be touched by the quiet earth that is alive in you. By finding stillness, heart-centered awareness and communing with the powerful presence of trees, the stress of the week, will surely fall away.
For children, the skills of mindfulness and awareness can be cultivated! I teach your children to be present and listen closely in nature.
(If you have a hard time not talking, this walk is not recommended).
Even though they would love this experience, no dogs allowed (as they already have these skills).
Beth is a great friend of RVC. You can learn more about her work here. Thanks to Beth's generosity, your $10 per person donation will go directly to support Ridge and Valley Conservancy.
