Horizons in Nature - Art & Poetry

Supporters of Ridge and Valley Conservancy will gather to honor the efforts of the past 25 years and focus on the future with a retrospective Art & Poetry Show. The event will take place at the Vass House Barn, set on the historic Vass Farmstead in Hardwick, NJ, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
Art students from surrounding colleges and schools will join with established artists and poets to present readings and share their visions of the area’s natural environment. Included in the program will be award winning Poet, Robert Carnevale, and nationally known Photographer, Douglas Peterson. Local artists and writers will round out the exhibit along with work from Paulinskill River Photography and student work.
All work will be on view throughout the event, and the poetry readings will begin at 4:00 pm. A reception will follow at the White Lake Barn, from 4:30-6:00 PM. The Vass house Barn is located at 109 Stillwater Road, Hardwick, NJ. Please park across the street from the Vass Farmstead in the White Lake parking lot.
